Sunset Beach vacation home in Venice Florida. The name Sunset Beach perfectly fits the artistic, contemporary feeling of this vacation rental home that always brings out the creative side of me upon entering the house. The rich, bright colors and contemporary furniture are perfectly paired with hardwood floors throughout and the modern wrought iron and glass kitchen table that reminds me of a chic New York City restaurant.
The living room area is spacious and great for entertaining family and friends, but my favorite part of the house is still the kitchen area that sits right next to the large sliding glass doors where you can walk out onto the covered lanai, patio area, which offers a wonderful view of the peaceful, fenced in yard area. Sitting on the futon in the lanai during the early morning, the sound of birds chirping is music to my ears while the rest of Venice still remains calm and quiet. If you are a nature lover, consider pulling out the futon and spending the night surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the natural world and waking up to the lovely birds. The backyard is large enough to accommodate a few furry friends, but still has room for a spacious heated pool and deck area, covered and separated from the rest of the backyard for the safety of roaming toddlers!
The kitchen sticks to the contemporary theme of the house, with crisp white cabinets, black and white marbled countertops and silver accessories and handles. Although there is no dishwasher in the kitchen area, enjoying the view of the backyard while washing dishes is definitely no chore.
Aside from the kitchen and lanai area, my second favorite part of the house is the master bedroom, with a king size bed, which perfectly balances being cozy and separated from the rest of the house with a beautiful front view window that offers plenty of light, covered by shutter blinds to protect any outsider views from seeing in. The other two bedrooms, one with a full bed and the other with two twin beds keep the pattern of sharp, bright colors flowing throughout the house.
The Sunset Beach house resides in a neighborhood on the south side of Venice Beach, not far from Harbor Drive or the downtown Venice Mainstreet. My favorite part about the Sunset Beach house is that you need only walk a few blocks down to the reach the Intracoastal Waterway and the Venetian Waterway Park, which really is the gateway to the rest of Venice.
