Stroll along historic downtown Venice Florida
Venice Avenue and Miami Avenue are the heart of downtown Venice and are a great place to catch a break from the beach. Featuring towering palm trees, downtown Venice is a great place to take in lunch or dinner at a quaint outdoor cafe or restaurant overlooking the beautiful historic area of the Venice town center.

The Venice town center has a wonderful small town feel, with antique shops, jewelry stores, endless children’s and adults clothing stores, and even specialty golf shops for the avid golf vacationer to pick up some new gear.

Venice and Miami Avenue also host a variety of arts and farmer market and crafts shows, fashion shows, holiday parades and sidewalk sales.

Head to Centennial Park between W. Venice and W. Tampa Avenues for a place to park and a Venice Mainstreet information kiosk to get you started on your tour of the downtown shops and restaurants. Head over the Intracoastal Waterway on Tamiami Trail towards Venice Beach and you will find W. Tampa Ave, W. Venice Ave, and W. Miami Ave, all running perpendicular to Tamiami Trail on the right hand side of the street.

Give yourself plenty of time to browse through the unique shops of Venice Mainstreet and enjoy the historic downtown feel.

You can also find the Historic Triangle Inn by looking for Blalock Park on the 300 block of S. Nokomis Avenue near the Public library and the Venice Community Center.
