Play a round on the pristine greens and fairways of Pelican Pointe

Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the newly renovated and beautiful crafted 27-hole combination courses of Meadows, Preserves, and Hatchet Creek. Surrounded by 1,000-acres of nature preserves, lakes, and wildlife, once you arrive at Pelican Pointe you will see this is one of the best golf courses in the area.

Pick any three combinations of Meadows, Preserves or Hatchet Creek for three unique experiences on the golf course or just play 9-holes. Each course has its own challenges and difficulties, but all of the courses are fun and interesting for both the most avid and the most amateur golfer. If you aren’t up to the 72-par score, try lessons from one of several pros at the golf shop for $30/half hour. There is also a large practice greens area with over 5,000 sq. feet of putting greens, a chipping green, and a bunker green. The golf shop opens at 6:30 am where you can put in your tee time requests by phone or come in for a practice round before you start to play.

Pelican Pointe is a semi-private Country Club with a variety of other facilities available, but visitors have access to only the golf course, the golf shop and the clubhouse where you can refuel for the rest of your round from 11-4 during the week and 11-6 on the weekends. The golf courses are reasonably priced for the public at $39, year round before noon and $29 after noon. You can play only 9-holes for $25 in the morning and $20 in the evening. You can find Pelican Pointe by taking the Venice bypass south to Center Road. Take a right and continue on for a mile or two until you come to Horse and Chaise Road on the left. This will take you to the entrance of Pelican Pointe Golf Club on Derbyshire Road.
