Spend the day exploring Venice from this beautiful vacation home

Pulling up to the Nantucket Beach House, I immediately feel welcomed and invited by the bright yellow flowers along the walkway and the serene surroundings of the neighborhood. Upon opening the door I am greeted by an open living room, kitchen and dining area that continues to add to the house’s feeling of warmth with vibrant, fun colors like the red couch along with a beautiful bright red flower painting.

The entire open living area looks crisp, clean and contemporary lined with Berber carpet in the living room and beautiful neutral colored tile through the kitchen and dining area. It is easy to envision lazy afternoons after returning from the beach, lounging on the couch, making dinner in the kitchen or enjoying a game of cards at the dining room table.

This vacation home only offers two bedrooms, a large master bedroom with walk-in closet space and a full bathroom connected, and the second bedroom sits with two twin beds decorated by beautiful antique, country-style quilts. There is also room to sleep on the pull out couches in the living room, or be daring and stay on one of the two couches places in the sunroom, waking up to the birds chirping and a beautiful view of the backyard flowers. The patio area offers air conditioning and is surrounded by windows and blinds. This would be the perfect place for someone who likes to wake up early, pull open the blinds and listen to the stillness of a Venice morning.

Without a doubt, the backyard is where you will find your family spending most of their time on this vacation. Step outside from the sunroom to a fenced yard lined with a variety of blooming hibiscus and lime trees, a perfect accessory for sipping on Coronas or Margaritas in the late afternoon. The in-closed pool is the central focus of the yard although there is still plenty of space for pets to roam about or find a shady spot. If you love outdoor entertaining, there are surround sound speakers already built in and a grill that is ready for your favorite fish, steaks or chicken.

Another great part about the Nantucket Beach House is walking into the garage to find the washer and dryer and finding resident bicycles ready for your use. There really is no better way to see Venice than to cruise around on these beach bikes and enjoy the ocean breeze. Head north on Shamrock Drive and find the Shamrock Park and Nature Center, a spacious Venice park with walking and biking paths, tennis courts, hiking trails and a large children’s park. Or head south on Shamrock Drive and end up right on the water at Alligator Creek. This is a really fun way to explore Venice.
