Dine at the best Mexican restaurant in Venice and Sarasota

Although Mi Pueblo in Venice is always busy, if you have to wait during the summertime months, the wait goes by quickly and there is plenty of room to stretch out in the outdoor seating area. The customers rave about the homemade chips and salsa offered as soon as you sit down for your meal, making the wait well worth it. The menu offers a nice selection of traditional and tex-mex style Mexican dishes, like combination plates of enchiladas, tacos, and chimichangas and other more traditional meals like pollo con mole. Most dishes are served with rice, beans, and homemade tortillas (the best gauge for authentic Mexican restaurants) and prices between $7-$12 on average for a meal.

The restaurant started out as one small business near Sarasota, but has now expanded to three locations because customers continue to fill up the seats on a nightly basis.
