There is no shortage of seafood on the menu, starting with hearty appetizers like New England style Clam Chowder, Lobster Bisque, Oysters Rockefeller and Mussels followed by Maine Lobster prepared in an assortment of ways from pasta dishes to sandwiches. Even if you aren’t in the mood for lobster or seafood during your visit there is a nice selection of steaks, chicken and pork chops located at the bottom of the menu, but you really should give their fabulous lobster and seafood dishes a try!
The Lobster Pot is a family atmosphere with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. There is a children’s menu available for lunch and dinner, made up of smaller versions of many of the adult menu items. If you are planning to come for lunchtime, there is a separate lunch menu that offers items like a tasty lobster roll that would be sizeable for adults as well as most children. They also serve fish sandwiches, hamburgers, and quesadillas made with cheese, shrimp, chicken or even lobster. During dinner meals range from $8-$18 and lunch prices between $6-$13, not bad for a lobster, seafood restaurant!
Come by the Lobster Pot Mon-Thursday between 11:30-9pm or Fri-Sat between 11:30-9:30pm. If you are around during the summertime, you can also stop by for the “seasonal Sunday” evenings from 5-9pm. Located in the Siesta Key Village, easy to find once you make your way to Siesta Key from the mainland. Take US-41/Tamiami Trail N to Stickney Point Road and make a left, just before you reach Sarasota. Then turn right onto Midnight Pass Road and proceed down about one mile to Ocean Road/SR-789 A. Lobster Pot will be less than half a mile down the road on Ocean.
