A family friendly seafood restaurant voted the Best in Venice

In 2004, Left Coast Seafood Company was voted the Best Seafood Restaurant in Venice by the Herald Tribune and for very good reasons! Left Coast Seafood Co. offers distinctive and tasteful seafood menu items with reasonable prices in a family friendly environment. What more could a family vacationing in Venice ask for?

The menu is loaded with excellent fish dishes with the options to prepare them just the way you like whether blackened, fried, grilled, or sautéed. Don’t let the abundance of seafood choices and the best seafood restaurant award fool your taste buds, though, the menu also offers a variety of chicken, pasta, sandwich, and steak dishes, and even a handful of vegetarian dishes sprinkled throughout. There are also plenty of light menu items like the famous Lobster Salad with fresh fruit, the Florida Salad made with fresh hearts of palmetto or the delicious Left Coast Wrap, prepared with egg salad and salmon. Don’t forget the appetizers like fresh Apalachicola oysters on the half shell or the Shrimpacho appetizer, a shrimp cocktail dish served with fresh gaspacho. Adult dinner menu items run between $4-$14 but there is also a children’s menu listed with a nice selection of items that any child is sure to enjoy.

To keep extra money in your pocket for other family adventures, Left Coast Seafood Co. always has some type of special throughout the week. All you can eat grilled of fried shrimp on Tuesdays, All you can eat fish fry on Wednesdays, and an early bird menu from 3-5:30 pm. Left Coast also offers 25-cent specials on peel and eat shrimp on Tuesdays, oysters on Wednesdays and chicken wings on Thursdays. Visit Left Coast near the entrance to Bird Bay Executive Course. From the north take Tamiami Trail right to the junction of Tamiami Trail and the Venice Bridge. Take the bypass and you will see Bird Bay Drive on the left and the entrance to the golf course, just before this will be Left Coast Seafood Co. Reservations are accepted and suggested on busy summertime weekends.
