A family friendly seafood restaurant on beautiful Siesta Key Island

Trying to find a fresh Seafood restaurant where you can bring the entire family while vacationing in Sarasota? Captain Curt’s Crab and Oyster Bar is the place to be! Captain Curt’s is known throughout Sarasota for their consistently good seafood dishes, family friendly service and great prices. Here you will find casual Florida seafood choices with appetizers like group fingers, chicken tenders and gator bites, and menu choices like seafood sandwiches, burgers, seafood entrees, baskets, or combos, a raw bar, and the children’s food choices right on the menu.

Almost all the menu choices are between $5-$15 except for a few larger portioned menu items. The menu does cater to the seafood lover, although Captain Curt’s offers baby back ribs, prime rib and a handful of chicken dishes and burgers for those hungry carnivores. Captain Curt’s also offers a full bar selection and a nice list of potential dessert choices if you still have room after the large entrée portions.

This really is a great place to bring kids of all ages, as there are plenty of table activities and games and even a gift and souvenir shop where kids can look around before and after the meal. Check out Captain Curt’s saloon area where there is nightly entertainment throughout the summer, with karaoke on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. This is always a great way for kids to enjoy an evening out to dinner.

Captain Curt’s is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner beginning at 11am. Reservations are not accepted, but if there is a wait, the time goes by quickly.
