The beach area straddles the Gulf of Mexico and Lemon Bay and is a great place to enjoy a day basking in the sun. Take SR 776 south and then west from Venice and then turn left onto Beach Road. You will find Englewood Beach right in front of you.<br>
Stump Pass Marina-Located further down towards Lemon Bay on SR-775/Placida Road. Stump Pass Marina offers a great place to launch your boat or jet ski and a potential site for boat and jet ski rentals. If you are spending the day on the water, this is a great place to stop for fuel and for a bite to eat and a place to cool off after a hot day in the sun. SR-776 will meet SR-775, take this down a few miles and you will see Stump Pass Marina on the beach side.<br>
Lock and Key Pub and Restaurant-A favorite among locals and tourists with 2 dining rooms and a large bar area facing the setting sun. Directly across from Englewood Beach this is a great place to finish off your day with a cold drink, good seafood, and great ambiance.<br>
Mad Sam’s Restaurant-Another favorite of many in the Manasota Keys area but Mad Sam’s is more famous for the great entertainment, good drinks and a nice place to watch the final rays of the sun rather than the food. It is just past Englewood Beach and Lock and Key Pub and is located right on the beach.
