For Travelers: Question: How does this site work ?
Answer: All listings on this site are advertised by independent owners. The site is a link between you and the property owner. We cannot make any bookings or answer specific questions about a property.Question: How much does it cost ? Answer: There are no charges or booking fees for travelers.
Question: How do I contact a property owner ?
Answer: To do this you must either call or e-mail the owner directly. If you are viewing a property that looks interesting, click on the small thumbnail photo to see all of the details for that property. Directly below the main photo is a column with the owner's name, property ID and phone number. There is also a link to e-mail a rental inquiry to the owner. This is the preferred method to contact most owners. Be sure to add as much detail as possible to your request.
Question: I've e-mailed the owner and haven't heard back from them in several days ?
Answer: Most owner's will contact you promptly after you make a request. We occasionally have problems with owner's who remove their properties from the rental market and fail to notify us. Please e-mail us at: admin@petvacations.com if you experience this problem.
For Rental Owners:
Question: How much does it cost to list a property ?
Answer: Our annual subscription rate is $149.00 per year (1st property) Each additional property is $99.00 per year. We have bulk rates for owners with more than 5 properties to list. Bulk rates are negotiated directly with the site owners. Call (904) 233-7280 for more details.
Question: How can I increase the ranking of my listing in the site.
Answer: The best way to increase your listing's ranking is to have an accurate and complete listing. We award extra scoring points for properties that have all the information blocks filled-in, the maximum number of photos (12) and an active reciprocal link.
Question: Why does my account say my e-mails are unread ?
Answer: When an inquiry is generated our system sends an e-mail to your personal e-mail address and also one to your Pet Vacations Homes account. E-mail in your account will appear as unread until opened through your Pet Vacation Homes account. Our e-mail response system has a handy formatted response. We recommend you use this feature...the detailed information you enter into the blocks is retained for your convenience.
