Poultney is a quaint and historic Vermont town and a little known jewel. An unspoiled and rural farming community, it is truly a snapshot of what Vermont used to be. Only ten minutes to Lake St. Catherine and Lake Bomoseen, which have a public boat ramp and state park, it is also home to Green Mountain and Castleton State Colleges, which host a number of cultural and agricultural events.
