Located in the Heritage Woods Section of Sea Pines Plantation, our house sits in the middle of a Maritime Forest. Deer and wildlife run freely through our backyard. Our back deck runs the length of the house and is perfect for barbecues. A large lagoon accents the surroundings by offering water views from inside and outside the house.

This picturesque setting is located in a warm and friendly neighborhood in Sea Pines. Bike Trails surround the neighborhood making beach access accessible in minutes. Also, a very short bike ride to Harbour Town to the west or to South Beach Marina to the south. This is a fantastic family fun vacation locale. No matter what the interest, all family members should be able to safely navigate around the neighborhood to the beach or pool or their desired destination.

The Sea Pines Beach Club complete with a beach shop, restaurant and outdoor grill, outdoor Tropical Bar and nightly entertainment is one of your access points to the beach. There are 2 other access paths to the beach that are closer (see map) and offer ocean tranquility and beach beauty along some of the most valuable residential property on the whole island. The Plantation Club’s Pool is available for your use. It is partially covered and is heated during certain times of the year.

A serene lagoon view greets you from all angles in and around the house. Inside, the home has new hardwood floors, tiled Kitchen, 2 master bedroom first floor suites, king size bed in first master, a dining room, eat-in Kitchen area, a screened porch, a fireplace and cathedral ceilings all on the first floor. Upstairs is the third bedroom, the sleeping loft and a full bathroom. Outside, the decking runs the entire length of the rear of the house and the screened porch shares the same lagoon water views.

The first floor has an open and bright floor plan with lots of windows and skylights. The Living Room has a vaulted ceiling, double sliding doors to the deck, a ceiling fan and fireplace. The dining area is separate, but open to the living room.

The Kitchen is completely tiled with a large greenhouse window. There is a Kitchen bar separating the Kitchen form the breakfast and sitting area. The Kitchen has plenty of windows and opens into the screened porch. A large laundry room with a pantry is off the Kitchen. The first floor powder room is off the laundry and Kitchen area.

We put a lot of care and thought into the interior design of our home. Our plan was to provide every amenity possible that you could want on a vacation. This exceptional home exceeds traditional standards. You'll find stylish, beautifully coordinated designer furnishings throughout. Included are all new mattresses and upscale linen in all bedrooms to insure a good night's sleep.

Bring your fishing rod and try to catch some of the spotted bass in the lagoon or just sit out in the porch in the evening and watch them jump out of the water catching their dinner. There is also spectacular bird watching and other enjoyments of nature. The bike paths and nature trails are right outside the front door. Nothing else quite like this atmosphere on the East Coast this close to the beach.

Animal Regulations:

• April 1, 2007 - May 30, 2007 - Animals must be on a leash between 10 AM and 5 PM.
• May 30, 2007 until Monday of Labor Day weekend - NO animals allowed on the beach between 10 AM - 5 PM.
• Tuesday after Labor Day - September 30, 2007 - Animals must be on a leash from 10 AM - 5 PM.
• October 1, 2007 - April 1, 2008 - No leashes required at any time. The animal IS required to be under positive voice control.
• On the beach or not, local law requires owners to clean up after their pets.

Activities and Attractions
A Nature Conservancy, Historic Plantation Ruins, a Lighthouse, Yacht Basin in Harbour Town, restaurants and night life of South Beach. Besides golf, bicycling is one of Sea Pines biggest amenities. There are 33 miles of bike paths in addition to 12 miles of beautiful white sandy beaches ideal for bicycling. They are the widest and safest on the Island. Other difference between staying in Sea Pines and other Plantations or locations is that you benefit from all of the amenities that a full Plantation has to offer. Other areas of the Island are very commercial and crowded. Our private and beautiful house is located in the Greenwood Forest section of Sea Pines. Staying here is like having 2 vacations at once. The first is living in a Maritime Forest and the second is living at the beach. Hiking, Biking, Fishing, Birding, Wildlife viewing, Horseback riding, Golf, Tennis, Shopping, Swimming, Water skiing, Boating, Surfing, Nature tours of beaches, Marshes by foot and kayak.
