This is an elegant house with many lavish amenities to enjoy. The Anchors Hold sits on a hill and has the highest elevation of any home as far as the eye can see. Don't be surprised if you walk out of the front door and find wild horses munching on grass next to the private pool. Perched in a wild horse sanctuary, we boast matchless views of the ocean and bays from panoramic windows. Sit on the elevated porch, loll in the hot tub, and cool off in our outdoor pool. Three master suites offer two person jacuzzis. Walk on sandy trails with your favorite pets and discover wildlife, birds, and wonders of every description.
This semi- oceanfront house is located in Carova Beach which is part of the all wheel drive section of the Northern Out Banks. A 4x4 vehicle is a must. There are two grocery stores located about 20-30 minutes from the house. Linens will be provided for no extra charge (sheets and towels). The house is rented from the week of May 27th through the week of September 1st.

Why my place is great for a pet?
Our dogs call Anchors Hold their private paradise. They can frolic in the waves, chase sandpipers up and down the shore, cool off in our private swimming pool or explore the canals and back roads. As our boder collie put it, Sniffs of a lifetime. Because the 4x4 beach sports none of the crowds of the paved ways in Corolla, dogs enjoy an unmatched freedom to do what they love best. From the owners perspective, we offer dog bowls, bedding, sofa covers, and other amenities that mean that you don't have to haul all the toys and other extras that never quite seem to fit into your car, truck or van.
