You have found Serenity - our vacation condo in Fenimore Mill on the island of Cedar Key, Florida. The Cedar Keys are known for their beauty and rich wildlife on Florida's Nature Coast. Located on the Gulf, 1 hour from Gainesville; 3 hours from Jacksonville; and 2.5 hours from Tampa; Cedar Key is a step back into old Florida - Florida without the mouse.
Our Cedar Key vacation rental condo offers incredible two story views of Wacasassa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico from the living room, loft bedroom, and private balcony. Family friendly, Serenity has a king bed (new 9/09) in the master, two twins or a joined king in the loft bedroom. Casually, but tastefully furnished in wicker, soft colors, and serene artwork, our rental villa is ideal for 1 to 4 guests. You'll want to take your shoes off, pour a favorite beverage, and relax on the balcony to watch the birds and boats go by.

Why my place is great for a pet?
Our tile floors in the living area make Serenity quite comfy for our pet guests. Cedar Key, Florida is very pet friendly and you may walk with your dog around town and on the beaches in Cedar Key. Please note that we only allow a maximum of two pets. No cats are allowed due to owner's allergies.
Activities and Attractions
The Cedar Keys National Wildlife Refuge is well-known for its variety of nesting birds. Bird watching is easy in Cedar Key - look out the window or sit on the private balcony to watch the herons and egrets (to name a few). Inshore fishing is excellent in FL's Big Bend. Charters are available for deep sea fishing - grouper is a local favorite!

Serenity is perfect for couples and families — park your car and you won't need it again!
Walk to restaurants, shops, galleries, boat rentals, and the marina. Most dining and shopping options on Dock Street are 3 blocks from Serenity. Bicycles and golf cart rentals are also available if you'd like to range a bit further.
Cedar Key offers activities for the nature lover - kayaking, fishing, bird-watching, boating, and exploring the many small keys (islands). Don't miss the fresh seafood - Cedar Key is known for its clams.

Serenity is set up to make life simple for your vacation. The kitchen is fully-furnished for real cooking. A full set of cookware, serveware, flatware, and dishes are available for your use. Linens are provided, including beach towels. A computer with DSL is also available for your use or hook up to our WiFi with the password provided. The complex has a fishing dock for guests, a fish cleaning station, boat parking on site, (no dock space), a swimming pool and a hot tub. There is also a small beach for playing in the water and a dog walking area with baggies.

$900/week (Five nights is normally required from Feb. 1 - May 1)
$160/night (2 night minimum out of season)
$3,000/month (January, February, November, December only)
Most holidays and festival weekends from July 15 - Feb. 1 require a minimum of 4 nights and will not be reserved more than 3 weeks in advance unless you reserve at least a week's stay. Please inquire to verify required number of days.
Holidays and festivals book up quickly. The minimum booking is a requirement. Busy times include the usual holidays, the Arts Festival in April, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and the Seafood Festival in October. Please email us with questions.
We sometimes allow pets - contact us and let us know what type of pet you have. There is a $10 pet fee per visit. Please know that we never approve cats as the owner is very allergic!

Rates do not include Florida 9% tax. No additional cleaning fees are charged. A credit card number or check for one night's stay is required to reserve stays of up to one week. Longer stays require at least a week's rental deposit. |
