Barefoot on the Beach is a Gulf front townhome and has spectacular views from all windows in the townhouse. You step off the deck right onto the beach. There is a huge deck that wraps around two full sides of the townhome which provides a great opportunity for family gatherings throughout the day while watching the beautiful gulf views. Both bedrooms have great views of the beach as well and their own private bathroom and balcony. There is a window seat on the beach side, perfect to sit and read with a view of the beach. The sun sets directly in this window which is at the dining table. The loft has 2 twin beds and has an enclosed stairway (normal at Barrier Dunes is just a ladder) leading up to it. The kids love the loft and think it is their special place. The sleeping arrangements are 1 king, 1 queen, 2 twins, 1 queen sleeper couch. The main floor has a wood burning fireplace, 1/2 bathroom, eating area, living room, and kitchen. The square footage of heated and air conditioned space is 1557. There are 3 TV's, cable TV, 2 DVD players, VCR player and a library of DVD's (including all 6 seasons of Sex in the City), video's and books. Barrier Dunes sits right next door to St Joe State Park (2500 acres) which has boat ramps. In 2002, Dr. Beach ranked it the #1 beach in the United States. Dogs are allowed on the beach and Barrier Dunes has pet stations thru out.

Why my place is great for a pet?
You can walk your dog on the beach. The beach and Barrier Dunes are very pet friendly. Barrier Dunes has pet stations thru out.

Activities and Attractions
Barrier Dunes is a gated community with boardwalks connecting you to
the beach and other areas. Barrier Dunes sits right next door to St
Joe State Park (2500 acres) which has boat ramps. In 2002, Dr.
Beach ranked it the #1 beach in the United States. There are no
high rises on Cape San Blas, giving you uncrowded beaches and no
traffic jams on the roads and the one 2 lane highway. This is an
undiscovered gem on the forgotten coast of Old Florida. Cape San
Blas is 20 miles long (with St Joe State Park being 10 miles of it)
and at it's widest point is a mile across. The Gulf of Mexico is on
one side and the tranquil waters of St Joe Bay on the other.
